Craft, Translated Into Confidence

For made-to-measure furniture, the website has to communicate care before a visitor ever meets the maker. Generic trade-site conventions would reduce exceptional work to a catalogue. Markou needed a digital experience with the same calm, precision, and material intelligence as the rooms it completes.

We shaped the platform as three connected things: a digital showroom that earns desire, a project archive that supplies evidence, and an enquiry engine that turns attention into a useful brief. The result feels editorial on the surface and exacting underneath.

Editorial Restraint

Warm neutrals, serif scale, generous whitespace, and asymmetric image pacing make the work feel curated rather than fed through a template.

Cinematic Presence

Responsive video compositions, measured reveal motion, project continuity, and still-image fallbacks create atmosphere without making movement essential.

Qualified Demand

Case studies, process education, location context, and a structured project brief help visitors self-select before the studio invests consultation time.

Beauty On The Surface. Discipline Underneath.

  • Experience layer: semantic HTML, Tailwind/CSS, responsive media, and focused native interaction modules.
  • Delivery layer: Firebase Hosting, global CDN delivery, managed HTTPS, asset caching, and canonical redirects.
  • Operations layer: constrained Firestore lead capture, authenticated analytics, lead-status workflows, and first-party behavioural events.
  • Automation layer: a document-created cloud trigger with secret-managed Microsoft Graph credentials and email delivery status.
  • Quality foundation: structured data, sitemaps, accessible controls, reduced-motion awareness, responsive assets, and resilient media states.
Live Experience

From Workshop Story To Working Platform

  1. Position the studio: translate family heritage, material expertise, and made-to-measure value into a distinct digital premise.
  2. Build the visual system: establish the ink, ivory, stone, and graphite palette with expressive type, restrained controls, and editorial spacing.
  3. Choreograph discovery: connect the cinematic homepage to furniture categories, completed projects, workshop proof, reviews, and process education.
  4. Engineer responsive media: coordinate video, still fallbacks, lazy assets, visibility states, and mobile-specific compositions.
  5. Operationalise enquiries: capture meaningful project briefs, persist constrained records, notify the studio, and surface acquisition context.
  6. Protect long-term value: add structured search signals, accessibility considerations, analytics, deployment automation, and reusable case-study foundations.

A quiet, cinematic digital showroom that turns craftsmanship into confidence—and confidence into conversation.
