The Commerce Challenge

Premium clothing sites have to be expressive without making shopping harder. The brand needs atmosphere, but the customer still needs clear products, sizes, delivery feedback, checkout validation, and account continuity.

SL Green Studio is being shaped as a studio-like retail environment: cinematic enough to feel elevated, structured enough to support everyday ecommerce decisions, and flexible enough to absorb final photography, policy, and catalogue changes before launch.

Editorial Retail

The homepage, brand story, product grid, filters, and colour cues are designed to make essentials feel curated rather than generic.

Commerce Flow

Product details, favourites, cart state, gifting, promo logic, and checkout feedback are treated as first-class experience layers.

Iteration Ready

Reusable data structures let product copy, imagery, policies, prices, and launch decisions keep evolving without rebuilding the site.

System Highlights

  • Frontend stack: HTML, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, GSAP, Lenis, Firebase Auth, Firestore, and Firebase Hosting.
  • Customer journey: homepage, catalogue, category filtering, product detail pages, cart, checkout, account creation, and order history.
  • Retention layer: favourites, saved delivery details, masked payment summaries, and future drop readiness.
  • Launch honesty: live access is locked until asset finalisation, content refinement, policy decisions, and pre-launch validation are complete.
